Rooted in Bucyrus.
Tangible Ven-Tures, LLC was founded in May 2019 by Everett H. Fortner, a Crawford County native who spent twenty years in manufacturing before returning to build businesses in his hometown.
Our story
Everett grew up on a farm outside Bucyrus and watched the town's economy shift from manufacturing to services. He spent two decades managing production lines in Columbus and Cleveland before deciding that the best place to build something lasting was home.
He started with a single storage facility, then added equipment rental, then retail. Each venture was built slowly, with cash, and with the conviction that a business that serves its neighbors will outlast one that chases trends.

We invest in equipment, buildings, and inventory — things that hold value and serve real needs.
Crawford County first
We hire locally, buy locally when possible, and reinvest profits in the community.
Long-term horizon
We do not flip businesses. We build them to run for decades.
Low leverage
We avoid debt that we cannot service through a downturn. Resilience beats growth.
Everett H. Fortner
Everett holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State and an MBA from Case Western Reserve. He lives in Bucyrus and serves on the board of the Crawford County Economic Development Partnership.
